Choir Performance
On Friday the choir got to perform as part of our Belonging Day. I was in the choir and I feel like we were AWESOME and AMAZING! I loved doing it. The day before the choir was going to perform the storytellers had to practice the songs. We drooped out the song I'm on my way because we did not get most things right and the bell was about to ring so we did not have time . We sang Rock a billy rebel, Perfect, We're going to be friends and Chasing cars. I had so much FUN. We got our uniforms and practiced some of the songs at lunch.Then it was the day choir got to perform. Everyone had to go to the hall when choir was going to perform.
After the choir performed one song there where speeches then we sang another song and there where more speeches. It keep on doing that with more speeches and more songs. I found it hard to remember all these different movements. But I did find it easy to remember the lyrics for all the songs. I didn't like how we cut out one of the songs . I did like how we got to practice the day before because I forgot some moves and I needed some help.
I was excited and nervous because it was my first real performance. I put in a lot of effort and so did all the others. It was INCREDIBLE! The audience loved us!
